The longer corners give the Ducati an advantage because it can maintain a higher speed than the Mclaren, whereas in the short, tight corners the car can brake later giving it an advantage. The results were quite shocking to me, the fact that the bike is only 2 seconds quicker than the Mclaren is impressive. If you throw an even better driver into the Mclaren that gap might be even smaller.
