The new 2023 Honda ST125 Dax joins the Monkey and MSX125 Grom in Honda’s mini-bike lineup, sprinting excitedly out of the traps after a 41-year absence from Honda’s European line-up. It has a pressed steel frame, 31mm USD forks, 12-inch wheels, and an air-cooled SOHC two-valve engine with four-speed transmission and centrifugal clutch for effortless riding pleasure. Comprehensive LED lighting, a tiny negative LCD display, and a pillion grab rail round out the full feature list, but no spec sheet can capture the intangible and timeless appeal of the unmistakable Dax style.
Honda’s collection of tiny motorcycles has piqued the interest of both young and senior riders. The Monkey 125 has been reimagined to evoke memories of the golden 1970s while still delivering totally modern, small, and funky urban transportation for riders of all ages. The MSX125 Grom offers a unique, customized look for ‘Generation Y,’ as well as ideal paddock transportation in the realms of car and motorcycle racing.
